Our Staff

We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Many of members of our team are Radiology certified and have gone to continuing education courses including the latest in Infection Control and Sterilization. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars, including CPR certification courses.

	Michelle Brown is our Practice Manager and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2007. Michelle is from Wilmington NC. Michelle is married to Jeff and has 3 children, Tierney, Trenton and Hunter. Michelle enjoys the beach, collecting vintage Hello Kitty stationary and spending time with her family.
	Vivian Wood is our Financial Coordinator and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2008. Vivian is from Passaic NJ and moved to NC in 1999. Vivian is married to Scott and has 2 children, Kimberlee and Sebastian and a granddaughter Hailee. Vivian enjoys crafts, gardening, fashion, spending time with her family and friends.
	Colleen Deming is our Treatment Coordinator and Professional Relations Coordinator she joined Khara Orthodontics in 2008. Colleen is from Wayne NJ and moved to NC in 2002. Colleen is married to Cliff and has 3 children, Andrew, Sarah and Owen. Colleen enjoys the beach, traveling, photography and spending time with her family and friends.
	Abby Stephens is our Scheduling Coordinator in our Holly Springs office and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2010. Abby is a native of Holly Springs NC. Abby is married to Donald and has 1 child Emma Grace. Abby enjoys the beach, going to the movies, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
	Carolyn Ellis is our Clinical Coordinator and an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2007. Carolyn is from Charlotte NC. Carolyn is married to Ed and has 3 children, Caroline and twin boys Zac and Cam. Carolyn enjoys shopping, reading, music and being with friends and family and is a BIG Alabama fan!
	Emmy White is our Medicaid Coordinator and Certified Orthodontic Assistant she joined Khara Orthodontics in 2006. Emmy was born in Erie PA, but grew up in Fuquay Varina NC. Emmy is married to B.J. and has 1 child Brooke. Emmy enjoys softball, shopping, reality TV shows, reading Nicholas Sparks books and spending time with her family. Emmy is also a BIG Steelers Fan!
	Nivia Irizarry is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2007. Nivia was born in Puerto Rico and moved to NC about 20 years ago. Nivia is married to B.J. and has 2 children, Alia and Kaili. Nivia enjoys reading, swimming, and spending time with her family.
	Ebony McBean is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2008. Ebony is from Apex NC and is married to Gordon and has 1 child Jalen. Ebony is a cheerleading coach and enjoys motorcycle riding and spending time with her friends and family.
	Michelle Reo aka Meesh is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2008. Meesh is from Long Island NY and moved to NC in 2004. Meesh is engaged to Gary and has 1 child, Ayla. Meesh enjoys scrapbooking, photography, music and baking for her loved ones and planning her April 2011 wedding.
	Liz Swales is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2008. Liz is from Swansea MA and moved to NC in 2006. Liz is married to Geoff and has twin boys Colin and Connor. Liz enjoys shopping, photography and spending time with her family.
	Allen Jaquez is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2009. Allen is from Queens NY and moved to NC in 2001. Allen has a daughter Alivia and enjoys sports, music, cooking and being funny.
	Caroline Gallegos is our Scheduling Coordinator in our Raleigh office and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2010. Caroline is from Houston TX and moved to NC in 1993. Caroline has six children and 3 beautiful grandbabies. Caroline enjoys shopping, watching horror movies and spending time with her family and friends.
	Fernando Jarillo is our Bi-Lingual Scheduling Coordinator in our Raleigh office and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2010. Fernando is from Mexico and moved to NC in 2009. Fernando is married to Jada and enjoys playing soccer, taking videos and pictures in his free time.
	Billie Sue Hess is Orthodontic Records Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2010. Billie is from York PA and moved to NC in 1996. Billie Sue is married to Derek and has 3 children, Gabriel, Zachery and Sarah. Billie Sue enjoys the beach, scrapbooking, shopping, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Billie Sue is also a BIG Steelers fan.
	Keri Pitts is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2010. Keri is from Albuquerque NM and moved to NC in 2007. Keri enjoys playing baseball, badminton, walking, swimming and fishing, and spending time with her friends.
	Caitlyn Canada is an Orthodontic Assistant and joined Khara Orthodontics in 2010. Caitlyn was born in New York but has lived in North Carolina most of her life. Caitlyn enjoys cooking and loves to travel. Caitlyn has a degree in Esthetics and loves to work with people.
